Summer 2017: I will be painting a new abstract series. Come back soon for more show dates.
Heather is proud to be an Artist in Residence at Hardy & Nance Studios in Houston's Arts District. She currently sells her art around the world online, at various fine art exhibits + retail shops. She is a member of the Watercolor Art Society of Houston.
Heather Jones Taylor has become known for her bold abstracts, colorful nudes, vibrant botanicals and whimsical mixed media bird series. Thanks to her mother, Madelyn Jones, Heather Jones Taylor discovered watercolor and fell in love with painting the minute her brush hit the paper. Moved by emotion, she paints what she feels, regardless of the subject matter. Jones Taylor's work has earned international appeal since being discovered by New York Art Curator, Paul Cabezas. In 2015 she was invited to participate during Art Basel week where she showcased her abstract nudes at the Miami River Art Fair. In April, her mixed media series, "Birds with Words" was featured at The Proletariat Gallery in Galveston during Art Walk and Featherfest. She is an Artist in Residence at Hardy & Nance art studios in the historic Arts Warehouse District and participates in gallery exhibitions and solo shows throughout the year.
